I've been working at the same hole-in-the-wall pizza place for the last 3 years. I've had enough. I don't have to go into detail because everyone knows the food industry is terrible. Anyways, I'm currently finishing my generals at a community college. I don't have a major yet and I'm meeting with a counselor this week to figure that out. I feel working at the same spot for three years has been holding me back and I'm just ready to go. I feel like I'm not at my full potential and all my friends have moved from entry level jobs to higher paying work (security for example). I honestly think my view on life has gotten extremely pessimistic because of this job. All my friends seem happier and I feel stuck. What steps can I take to find a better job? I have three years worth of experience on my resume since it's my first job but that's it. Any help would be appreciated
