Hey Huttle Community,
I've been working in Finance/Strategy for about a year and a half now. Since I majored in Economics that seemed like a good fit. Problem is...I kind of hate it. Grinding spreadsheets is pretty shitty, and I find that design and UX research is much more interesting.
In fact, a few months back, a project analyzing how design changes in the UX impacted loan application rates was dumped on me, and I loved it. But pivoting from finance to UX seems pretty big. Anyone go through something similar before? How do I bring this up to my boss? Or, should I just leave my company and start over as a UX researcher somewhere else?
Thanks in advance!
