Pretty thought provoking stuff:
"That’s what punching in, and punching out gets you in this industry. You can do it, but the consequences long term are severe. The world will pass you by. The industry will move on without you."
I think it's far more valuable to put yourself in challenging positions rather than focusing on paychecks or perks. If you're always challenged, you're always learning, and with more skills learned, you'll get bigger opportunities (and paychecks) in the future.
